Emi Ruff (she/her) is a writer, photographer, and human. Her first novel, working title Palo Alto, Babe, is a society novel set in Silicon Valley, centered on a love affair between the wives of two venture capitalists. She is actively seeking representation for this and future works.

Prior to starting fresh in her life as a writer, Emi worked in corporate affairs as a Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant at Amazon and Palantir Technologies. Off the clock, she spent almost a decade doing improv and stand-up comedy, traveling through Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Europe (with many more places to experience remaining), and tramping around the Appalachians. She spent the first chapter of her adult life in Washington, DC before relocating to her hometown outside of Detroit, where she lives with her sweet pup, Teddy.
